Privacy notice

Who we are. ROAM Adventure Trailers Limited company number: 708617, Rear of the Village Shop, Redcross, Co. Wicklow, A67 K6N3. Phone 0404 78400, email greg@roamadventuretrailers.com. We decide how your details are used (we are the “data controller”).

What we collect. When you ask about a ROAM (through a form on Facebook or Instagram, our website, by phone or by email), we collect your name, phone number and email address. We also collect anything you tell us in your answers, such as whether you want a viewing or a test tow, when you’re hoping to buy and what car you would tow with.

Why we use it. To reply to your enquiry: to ring or email you, arrange a viewing, test tow or call, and answer questions about a ROAM. After you enquire, we may also send you a few follow-up emails about the ROAM over the next couple of weeks. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and you can stop them at any time. Our legal basis is taking steps you ask for before a possible contract, and our legitimate interest in following up with people who contact us.

Who sees it. Our own team. Our marketing agency, Blue Motion Media, helps us run our ads and manage enquiries for us under a written agreement. Your details are stored in the customer system we use to keep track of enquiries and send emails. Meta (Facebook and Instagram) processes the form when you send it. We never sell your details.

How long we keep it. If you don’t buy, we delete your enquiry details 12 months after our last contact with you. If you buy, we keep what we need for warranty, accounts and legal records.

Your rights. You can ask for a copy of your details, ask us to correct or delete them, or object to how we use them, using the contact details above. You can also complain to the Data Protection Commission (www.dataprotection.ie).
